On Wednesday, May 28th, Kids enjoyed painting their own tile fashioned after the Islamic Tiles. Here Cheryl Frey Richards, instructor, dries the tiles that the children had made before painting on the final glaze.

Stencil Placemats: A Historic Craft
On Wednesday, October 21st the Local History Room presented a program on how to create your own stencil and stencil two placemats. We discovered that stenciling were used throughout history for decoration and a means of communication.
